Domestic:

Intercity Portland:

Portland is one of the most culturally diverse and needy cities in our country.  Come to the city where “anything and everything is normal” and as you work alongside Bridgetown Ministries, you will reach out to the hurting of inner city Portland.  From washing the feet of the homeless, to bringing the gospel to hundreds of needy children, this outreach is packed full of ministry opportunities’.  If you desire intense urban outreach that will stretch you to the limits, then this is the one for you!

Cost: $525

Training: $275
Outreach: $250

1st Deposit of $100.00 per person due April 1st
2nd Deposit of $175.00 per person due June 1st

Downtown Salem:

As Salem is the capital of Oregon God wants to transform this place all the more! With this outreach you will have the opportunity not only to reach a City, but a State! In this one week outreach you will have solid teaching along with fun interactive outreaches in the same day! With the cost being low you can bring more youth to be a part of what God is doing here! 

 

Cost: $300

Deposit Deadlines:
1st Deposit of $100 per person due April 1st
2nd Deposit of $200 per person due June 1st

Yakama Indian Reservation:

Mission Adventures Salem is partnering with a ministrty called S.L.A.M. Trips. S.L.A.M. Trips is a program of Mending Wings (a nonprofit, Native American youth organization located on the Yakama Reservation in Washington State). They offer cross-cultural, summer youth mission trip experiences on their reservation.

 

 

Cost: $500

Training $275
Outreach $225

1st Deposit of $150 per person due April 1st
2nd Deposit of $350 per person due June 1st

International: 

Thailand:

 This outreach is one of the most diverse we offer. Thailand is a beautiful place with beautiful people, great food and awesome opportunities for outreaches. YWAM Thailand has been working for many years to make great outreachs for teams. As Mission Adventures Salem partners with YWAM Thailand we are going to impact this nation. Here are some of the ministries we get to do: street evangelism, VBS, Slum ministry, ministering to trafficked victims, working in Refugee camps, teaching English, and many more! Cost: $2,000.00

Training: $275.00
Outreach: $1,725.00

Plane ticket money due 45 days before date of departure

2012 Summer Program Dates

Pick a date that works for your group, but HURRY! They fill up fast!

If you’re unfamiliar with how Mission Adventures is run, here’s a quick low-down…

Every group will spend 4 days here in training at the YWAM Salem Base. Usually, on the Friday of that week, the group will leave for their outreach locations and will return the following weekend. Keep this in mind when looking at date slots… 

FYI: Ending dates slightly subject to change based on outreach destination considering travel time. Portland groups total MA experience is 7 days long.
