Wellington Oliviera: Our Keynote Speaker

Wellington founded the Rio de Janeiro YWAM center after having an encounter with God at the foot of the Christ the Redeemer statue overlooking the city. He describes the moment as receiving a download of the heart of God for the city. Overcome with compassion, Wellington wept over the city and asked God for an opportunity to make a difference in the city. Through miraculous provision and a lot of determination, YWAM Rio was founded and has been a key point of light in this city of millions. Wellington also founded the mercy project in the Borel favela that has since become a model for community development. Wellington currently serves as and elder of JOCUM Brasil and is a much sought after speaker and teacher. He resides in Maringá, Brasil with his wife Denise and their two children.
