Is MA Right For You? While we love what God is doing with Mission Adventures, we realize that it may not be for everyone. So it?s a good idea to pause for a moment and evaluate whether or not M.A. is a good fit for your vision and the vision of your base. We seek to form partnerships with other YWAM centers that desire to run the program. In looking for partners, we?ve found that there are a few things that have helped make the program successful. 1) A commitment by the base leadership to the program. Without the base leader(s) support the program most likely will not get the staff and resources it needs to grow. 2) A commitment by the Program Leaders. We recommend that there be at least a 2-year commitment by the program leaders to make the program go. Without consistent, persistent leadership, the pioneering effort will most likely fail. 3) A love for the local church and a desire to serve them in their efforts to be involved in the Great Commission. |
