DNA Transfer Once the covenant is formed between us, you are a member of the Mission Adventures Network. You are then free to use the name, “Mission Adventures.” From there we can begin the process of transferring the “DNA” of Mission Adventures to your base leaders and program leaders. There are three steps in accomplishing this transfer: 1) The Mission Statement and the Values. These are the purest form of the DNA. This is the most concise statement of what Mission Adventures is and why it exists. 2) The Mission Adventures Internship. Send your program leaders to an established Mission Adventures program to see the ins and outs of how it all works. In North America, there are two options: a. The School of Ministry Development (with MA Leadership Track) held every spring at YWAM Los Angeles b. The Remote Internship We’ll give you more information about these options when you’re ready to do the internship. If you’re outside of North America we’ll work with you on the best way to see the Internship accomplished. 3) The Mission Adventures Seminar. We’ll send two trainers to your base for a 3-5 day training seminar on everything there is to know about Mission Adventures. You can have as many of your staff and leaders involved in this program as you want. You’ll get personalized attention that will help you get your program off the ground. Once the DNA transfer has begun, you can begin the pioneering phase of your new Mission Adventures ministry. |
