As with all trips through YWAM San Diego/Baja, fees include the following:

* Please note that a $10 tourist visa will need to purchased by each participant upon entry to the Dominican Republic (at the Santo Domingo airport) and is NOT included in your fee. 

Ministry Opportunities include:

Building (this is an addition cost of $6750 with an option to provide furniture at an additional $1500):  This house building experience takes place over 2-3 days.  The cost of the house ($6750) includes all the materials necessary for your team to build our 20’x20’ structure.  Each house has a concrete floor (poured and waiting for you when you arrive), wood siding, 3 windows, a dividing wall creating 2 living spaces, and is completely wired for electricity.  The optional furniture/housewarming kit (additional $1500) includes a table and 4 chairs with place setting for 4, propane stove with full tank, basic kitchen supplies & serving-ware, bunk bed (double on bottom, twin on top) with all bedding, curtains for the 3 windows, and various tools, rugs and other housewarming items.  If you choose to build a house, you will still participate in some evangelism-type ministries on the days that you are not building. 

Evangelism (no additional costs):  This would include children’s ministry, youth ministry and adult ministry.  You would be working with local ministries in the colonias (neighborhoods) as well as the ministries that we have through YWAM.  This would be set up with the outreach leaders after you complete the registration process.  This can include (but not guaranteed or limited to) ministries such as homeless, red-light, orphanages, soup kitchens, jail, etc.
